Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Present findings to senior management and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Credit Analyst (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and ratio interpretation
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with credit software such as Moody's RiskCal or Moody's Analytics
