Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and credit histories to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, lending regulations, and risk management principles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
