Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for commercial and corporate clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance requirements (FIRREA, BSA)
- Present credit analysis findings to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of SEC filings and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in managing complex credit portfolios
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
