Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC) and internal policies
- Present findings to credit committees with clear recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Strong financial modeling and ratio analysis skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Credit Risk Certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
