Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of default
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure complex credit facilities
- Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies for high-value accounts
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting credit analysis practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and lending regulations
- Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
