Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of commercial loan applications to assess credit risk and repayment capacity
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for senior management review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential delinquencies
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions for diverse clients
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and underwriting teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending institutions
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent preferred
