Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential repayment risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present credit recommendations clearly to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software
- Expertise in evaluating cash flow projections and collateral valuation
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial documents
- Series 7 and/or Series 63/66 licenses preferred
- Experience with credit origination systems (e.g., Moody's RiskCalculus)
