Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for portfolio review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and regulatory agencies
- Contribute to process improvements for credit underwriting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
