Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for internal stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with underwriting teams on complex commercial loan structures
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FCRA, ECOA) and industry best practices
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or fintech
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg Terminal)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market dynamics
- Remote work experience with strong self-management capabilities
