Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable with weekly payment cycles
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing for multiple client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement and improve bookkeeping systems for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounts
- Strong understanding of California payroll regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) required
- Experience with weekly pay processing systems
