Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations weekly
- Generate financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end reporting
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices and software
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with payroll processing and tax filings
- Exceptional analytical skills and error detection capabilities
- Strong written/verbal communication for client interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
