Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Process payroll and reconcile bank accounts for multi-entity clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain organized digital filing systems
- Collaborate with CFOs on tax preparation and audit documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience with construction or retail industry accounting a plus
