Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executive review
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
- Prepare month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in Austin market
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven track record of multi-entity financial management
- Deep understanding of Texas tax regulations and payroll laws
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
