Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support month-end/year-end closing processes
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax filings
- Generate financial reports and KPIs for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection capabilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
