Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements and reports
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during financial reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial analysis
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in mid-sized companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
