Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse business clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process multi-state payroll and sales tax filings
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies
- Coordinate annual audits and tax documentation
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years experience
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Expertise in multi-state compliance (FL, GA, AL)
- Proficiency in Excel with Power Query and macros
- Construction or real estate industry experience preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Proven track record of managing high-volume transactions
