Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a weekly basis to identify discrepancies and resolve them immediately.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage petty cash funds.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial data with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
