Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for diverse client portfolios
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all client accounts
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management processes
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly/year-end filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) or willingness to obtain
