Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity financial accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end closing reports including balance sheets and P&L statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.9% accuracy
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 10+ client portfolios
- Implement automated financial workflows using Zapier and integrations
- Conduct quarterly financial reviews and provide strategic insights
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience managing multi-state payroll systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
