Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings (federal, state, local)
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
