Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and budget preparation.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Provide financial reporting support to the CFO and senior management team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Experience with ADP or other payroll processing systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
