Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-value client portfolios
- Reconcile multi-entity accounts and prepare month-end financial statements
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online with advanced customization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse business structures
- Analyze cash flow patterns and provide strategic financial insights
- Lead cross-departmental audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years' bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks certification (QB ProAdvisor preferred)
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and GAAP standards
- Proficient in Excel with VBA/macros and data visualization
- Experience with forensic accounting and fraud detection protocols
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) designation required
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting track record
