Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and financial statements.
- Process payroll for employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
