Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee sales tax filings and quarterly tax preparation support
- Implement and optimize accounting software solutions (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Collaborate with tax professionals during annual audits and compliance reviews
- Develop financial reports to inform strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and Minnesota tax regulations
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy by 30%+
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or Xero required
