Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure GAAP compliance
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly/annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Oversee sales tax filings and regulatory compliance
- Support clients with financial forecasting and budget analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years bookkeeping)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and payroll systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting dashboards and KPI tracking
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
