Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including monthly journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and payroll processing.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare necessary documentation for audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's degree is preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
