Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining organized digital filing systems
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting periods
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Provide proactive financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios with complex transactions
- Strong understanding of sales tax filing and payroll processing requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Professional communication skills for client-facing interactions
