Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with 100% accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and quarterly tax document preparation
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial records
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or Paychell preferred)
- Professional certification (CPA, CB, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
