Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and oversee payroll processing
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online/Xero) for operational efficiency
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with financial institutions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and reconciliation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance (Nevada state requirements)
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and industry-specific accounting
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
