Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high precision.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and generate monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track expenses and monitor budgets.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
