Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15-20 clients
- Implement and troubleshoot QuickBooks and Xero integrations
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with sales tax filings and payroll compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
