Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Structure and underwrite commercial credit facilities up to $25M
- Develop comprehensive credit memoranda and risk mitigation strategies
- Leverage data analytics tools to identify emerging portfolio risks
- Collaborate with investment committees on credit approval processes
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize credit workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and credit risk frameworks
- Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Remote work experience with self-discipline and time management
