Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records match bank statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements for clients and internal review.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Tax Preparation: Collaborate with tax professionals to prepare and file quarterly and annual tax documents.
- System Management: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial data.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
