Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll for 15+ clients
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) and variance analysis reports
- Oversee QuickBooks setup and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with sales tax filings and payroll processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
