Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow forecasting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end compilations
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Oversee QuickBooks implementations and provide user training
- Assist with audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations (WA state focus)
- Ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
