Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
