Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews
- Develop month-end closing procedures and financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Active QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Nevada tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Experience with construction or retail accounting highly desirable
