Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Manage bank reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks accounting systems
- Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements
- Train junior bookkeeping staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification (highly valued)
- Expertise in GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
