Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, P&L reports, and cash flow analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices and software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expertise in financial reporting, payroll processing, and sales tax filings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
