Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and management reports
- Manage sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement and improve accounting systems and controls
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification highly desirable
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
