Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client review
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for operational efficiency
- Conduct internal audits to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly/annual audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial software
- Proven track record in multi-currency transaction processing
- CPA certification or equivalent accounting designation a plus
- Experience with construction or manufacturing accounting preferred
