Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounts
- Advanced knowledge of sales tax filing (CA BOE experience required)
- Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy standards
- Strong communication abilities for client reporting and team collaboration
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines consistently
