Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to analyze financial data and trends.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
