Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15-20 clientsGenerate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and sales tax returns
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and provide client training
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPAs on year-end financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with multi-client portfolio management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
