Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial records
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Utilize Excel for advanced financial modeling and data analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and complex account structures
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining client confidentiality
