Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to clients
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for client businesses
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance (NY/NJ/CT)
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-free financial reporting
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
