Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights
- Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance for multi-state operations
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Maintain detailed financial records in compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead month-end reporting sessions with client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-state payroll and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify financial trends and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience with accounting automation tools (e.g., Botkeeper, Sage)
- Certifications: QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero Advisor a plus
