Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger with complex multi-entity structures
- Oversee tax preparation processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Oregon state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and PivotTables
- Proven experience implementing financial controls and SOX compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
