Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex accounts receivable/payable
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and optimize financial controls to ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Maintain organized digital financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience in California
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and California-specific financial regulations
