Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process complex payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all client accounts
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes and audit preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online required)
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Expert knowledge of sales tax filing and payroll processing in Nevada
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
